Business Retention Program
Grow Minnesota is a private sector effort that focuses on retaining Minnesota business and encourages expansion in our state. The Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce is in its third year of participation with the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce initiative, Grow Minnesota!

The program focuses on the thought that Minnesota as a whole is better than its individual parts. By working together to enhance the state's economy, we can benefit our small towns, regional centers, and metropolitan areas more effectively than each can benefit on its own.

To make sure Minnesota businesses have the best opportunity to grow, the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with local area Chambers of Commerce, conduct regular business retention visits with Minnesota companies. During the visits, we thank businesses for operating in the state and help them overcome any obstacles they are facing.

The Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce is working with an advisory group compiled of local business leaders to conduct 60 visits with local businesses as a part of the Grow Minnesota! initiative this year.
